Mark Anderako

Senior Writer

Mark has 20 years of experience as a staff and contract writer and copywriter for leading regional advertising and public relations agencies working on more than 250 accounts involved in retail, packaged goods, industry, nonprofit and government, including Alberta Tourism, Alberta Economic Development, Alberta Treasury Branches, United Grain Growers, Edmonton Northlands and Alberta Lotteries. He has also authored a book and numerous articles in publications. In his “past life” he has also worked as a drama teacher, talent agent and casting associate and has appeared in more than 100 stage, film and television roles including Lonesome Dove, The Virginian, Jake and the Kid and Mentors. Mark has a degree in English from the University of Alberta and a public relations diploma from Grant MacEwan College.
