Ford Edge and Dominator Clothing
The Challenge
Dominator and Ford USA had just formalized a cross-promotional effort based on the launch of the Ford Edge and a new line of yoga apparel from Dominator Clothing called Edge Body Gear. The two companies had been looking for ways to cross-promote the two product lines.
The Solution
We entered on a web solution to promote the two products, and entered into discussions with Health Magazine and Cooking Light Magazine to leverage their readership base to market the launch of a cross promotional microsite. The cross promotional site would be launched with simultaneous display ads in Health Magazine and Cooking Light Magazine. The site would be linked to the Ford Edge product on the Ford corporate site and to the Dominator Clothing e-commerce site, also designed and managed by DCC. We worked with Ford’s agency JWT in New York to gather and animate assets from the Ford Edge promotional site.
The Result
The microsite has had incredibly good traffic since launch. It has been a successful promotional vehicle for both Ford and Dominator, and has added value to the Health and Cooking Light magazine brands.
