A few weeks ago, I penned a post with 7 Creative Online Resources for Inspiration where I talked about how to find inspiration online. Inspiration is the life force of good creative (followed closely by copious amounts of caffeine); without it, my career would have crashed harder than my energy level at 3pm.
It’s one thing to be inspired by something. It’s something else entirely to be curious enough about something in the first place to then allow inspiration to happen.
In my case, this comes naturally. I’m driven by my curiosity every day.

From the moment I wake up, to the last blink before I go to sleep, I am in a state of exploration. Always looking, always gathering, storing that knowledge for a later date when it can be put to good use. I am fortunate enough to work in an industry where that curiosity can result in great things. Especially for my clients.
Doing away with the concept of a ‘mobile site,’ responsive design is a principle that dictates how a website should fill the container of whatever screen it’s on. If you’re looking at a website on a Blackberry Torch or Apple iPad, ranging anywhere from a screen width of 360, 480, 768, or 1024 pixels, depending on the resolution, the website layout should change to fit your screen, not the other way around.
I’m sitting here in my chair on the coldest day of the year staring longingly at my computer screen, waiting for the sun’s comforting rays to beam through the skylight like the second coming of Christ. No good, the frost from the frigid -30 degree morning has covered my glorious sky-hole and created a kind of darkness vacuum in my general vicinity which has shrouded my soul with a blanket made entirely of icicles. It’s not that it’s cold in the office, not at all, in fact, it’s a balmy 25 degrees of natural gas-powered warmth. No, it’s knowing how cold it is outside that has turned a generally spritely me into a steaming pile of frump.
Step One: Find a “Hot” Picture

Oh yeah, baby. So hot. So cheesy.
